In addition to “the Heart of Sand Mountain,” the city is also nicknamed the “Fire Hydrant Capital of the World,” thanks to the Mueller Company’s presence. You can find a fire hydrant in front of Albertville Chamber of Commerce in commemoration of Mueller’s one millionth fire hydrant.
